At LiDAR Magic, we are committed to providing reliable, high-performance LiDAR solutions. We back our hardware with a robust warranty program to ensure your business operations remain uninterrupted.
1. Standard 2-Year Limited Warranty
We provide a two (2) year limited warranty on all main LiDAR units starting from the date of delivery.
    • Coverage: This covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal professional use.
    • Remedy: If a hardware defect arises during the Warranty Period, LiDAR Magic will, at its discretion, (1) repair the hardware at no charge, or (2) exchange the product with a functionally equivalent new or refurbished unit.

2. Exclusions (Accessories & Misuse)
Please note that the following are not covered by the standard 2-year warranty:
    • Accessories: Consumables and peripherals, including but not limited to cables, mounts, protective cases, and power adapters.
    • Physical/Environmental Damage: Damage caused by accidents, crashes, water ingress (beyond IP ratings), fire, or electrical surges.
    • Unauthorized Modification: Any attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the internal components of the LiDAR unit void the warranty.
    • Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic damage or natural degradation of components over time.

3. Extended Warranty Program
For long-term project security, clients may opt to extend their warranty coverage beyond the initial two years.
    • Requesting Extension: Please contact our sales team at info@lidarmagic.io to discuss extension options.
    • Transparent Pricing: We guarantee that the annual cost of an extended warranty will never exceed 20% of the original purchase price of the unit.
    • Timing: Extensions must be purchased before the expiration of the existing warranty period.

4. How to Claim Warranty Service
If you encounter a technical issue:
    1. Technical Support: Contact info@lidarmagic.io with your serial number and a description of the fault.
    2. Remote Diagnosis: Our engineers will first attempt to resolve the issue via remote diagnostics.
    3. RMA Issuance: If a hardware fault is confirmed, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
    4. Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping the unit to our service center. LiDAR Magic will cover the return shipping costs for repaired or replaced units under warranty.

5. Limitation of Liability
The total liability of LiDAR Magic under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product. LiDAR Magic is not liable for any data loss, project delays, or indirect damages resulting from hardware failure.
