At LiDAR Magic, we stand behind the quality of our LiDAR technology. Because we serve B2B clients with high-precision hardware, our return policy is strictly limited to manufacturing defects and shipping damage to ensure the integrity of our inventory.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request. If 30 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer a return or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the product must meet one of the following criteria:

- Manufacturing Defect: The hardware fails to operate according to technical specifications due to a factory error.
- Physical Damage upon Arrival: The product was damaged during transit before reaching your facility.
The product must be in its original packaging with all cables, manuals, and accessories included.
3. Exclusions (What is NOT covered)
We do not accept returns for:

- Usage Damage: Any damage caused by improper installation, integration, or electrical surges.
- Physical Misuse: Damage resulting from drops, collisions, or exposure to environments outside the product’s IP rating.
- Change of Mind: As a B2B provider, we do not offer refunds for “buyer’s remorse” or project cancellations.
- Software/Data: Digital licenses or software associated with the hardware are non-refundable once activated.
4. Mandatory Pre-Negotiation
Refunds are not automatically granted upon receipt of a return.

- All refunds must be negotiated and approved in advance with our technical support and sales team.
- You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping any items back to us. Shipments sent without an RMA will be rejected.
5. Return Process

- Submit Request: Email info@lidarmagic.io with your order number and detailed photos/videos of the defect or damage.
- Evaluation: Our engineers will review the claim to determine if the issue is a factory defect or usage damage.
- Negotiation: If the claim is valid, we will discuss a resolution (Repair, Replacement, or Refund).
- Shipping: If a return is authorized, you will be responsible for shipping costs and ensuring the package is insured for its full value.
6. Refunds
If a refund is agreed upon during the negotiation phase:

- We will inspect the item once received.
- We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method or as a credit toward future purchases, as per the negotiated agreement.
